Understanding Mustērion

In embarking on this journey, we will engage with the rich tapestry of biblical revelation, theological reflection, and spiritual application. Purpose of the Mustērion Series

The Apostle Paul, in particular, employs "mystērion" to describe various aspects of God's salvation plan, emphasizing its previously hidden nature and its present revelation. For instance, in Ephesians 1:9-10, Paul speaks of the "mystery of His will" which is set forth in Christ, a plan to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth. Similarly, in Colossians 1:26-27, Paul refers to "the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to His saints," which is "Christ in you, the hope of glory." The concept of "mystērion" is pivotal in understanding the unfolding of God's purpose throughout history.
